Don't kill people you don't know.

Avengingatheist - 2011-03-05

I saw him on what wound up being his last tour before he died. He was amazing to see live.

ProfessorChaos - 2011-03-05

Could someone explain the appeal of this guy? I don't get it.

Smellvin - 2011-03-05

People love him because he sang from the heart.

kingofthenothing - 2011-03-05

The guy was crazy and people love that. There's a song called "Casper the Homosexual Friendly Ghost", for crying out loud.

He wrote songs to try to gross out the demons that haunted him and would end songs with lyrics like "Polaroid. See what develops."

It probably makes us bad people for indulging in this hilarious shit but we're all bad people, dude.

boner - 2011-03-05

You listen to these songs long enough, they stop being a novelty and start being a journal of the guy's life.

Modern Angel - 2011-03-05

I don't think it makes us bad people. I think the bad people are the ones who roundabout argue that crazy or handicapped people should be shut ins and never do stuff like Willis did.

pressed peanut sweepings - 2011-03-05

I admire this guy for having been completely batshit insane without having been institutionalized/giving up.

manfred - 2011-03-05

minstrel show

Wander - 2011-03-05

So he's weird and intriguing, but we're not supposed to like him because he's black?

Cena_mark - 2011-03-05

Womanfred; Didn't you even read Modern Angel's comment?
Wesley made these songs for the people to hear. He wanted an audience. What would have really hurt Wesley is not having an audience. Yes some people saw him as a freak show, but I love his art.

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-03-05

This man is still smiling at us all from the city bus in the sky.

The Mothership - 2011-03-05

There are no "fit-throwing hell-rides" where he is now.

joelkazoo - 2011-03-05

Rest in peace, you wonderful man.
