But seriously, while I do play an instrument, I don't play clarinet. I know almost nothing about clarinet. I play oboe, which, when one is beginning (and perhaps still later on), sounds like the most awful duck quacking to be put out of its misery. I think it's funny just because almost every musician started out at about that level. So no, I'm not snidely mocking her attempts to learn and enjoy music. There's just always an awkward stage when learning something new that is sometimes entertaining. I thought that a small snippet of awkwardness fit POEtv's theme well, but I guess I was wrong. It happens.
