A lot of businesses use IE 6, partially because they use shitty outdated software that relies on it and partially because it's built-in censorship; employees can't goof off on work time if 90% of contemporary websites don't work properly in it.

There are at least two people on my floor in a government office still using IE6. IE8 wasn't a mandatory rollout.

Oh, and we're probably still going to be using XP for at least two more years while they test Windows 7 compatibility.
