mon666ster Asylum films are generally more entertaining than their Hollywood counterparts. Some of them are just downright better films.
FABIO The idea of them always ends up being ten times more entertaining than the actual movie.
Most of them are just cutting between boring medium shots of actors (to hide the lack of sets) and 1992 cgi monsters.
mon666ster I like the way how sometimes they just go right off course. Like Exorcism: The Possession of Gail Bowers is just a remake of the Exorcist, and nothing to do with Emily Rose, while Transmorphers is more Matrix sequel rip-off than anything else.
cognitivedissonance All science fiction movies are exactly the same these days. The "aliens are attacking AMERICA" motif is a little too calculated to bring flashbacks to the returning vets for my comfort.
kingarthur I can support people completely abandoning Hollywood blockbusters in favor of these.
