He was the only good thing about the Spider-Man movies. If you have a good thing like that, why wouldn't you change the script and turn him into a major plot point instead of an amusing bit character? What a waste.

To be fair, Valve had no idea the whole Companion Cube and Cake memes would even arise when they made Portal, and they consciously made the decision to not bring those ideas forward into the sequel. If any new memes arise from Portal 2, it's still not something anyone intended beyond use in the game (i.e. a running gag, or a catchphrase for Cave, etc.).
Nice job judging the game from an ad, without having played it once. Now I know to never pay your worthless opinion even a second of attention.
