Islamic imagery? You mean like crescent moons hovering around an Iowa farmhouse and Washington D.C.? That would be good too, but I'm partial to the dark clouds with fire myself.

If you don't pray, there will be a fricken sweet display of nature's cloud power

Yes, even the faggy sinful land of San Fransisco can be spared through the power of imaginary friends!

Oh great... its that time again. I remember you guys getting all butthurt over the National Day of Prayer last year. I'm an atheist too, and I don't see the big deal. We atheists are allowed to pray too during it.
Of course you love them. Useful idiots are useful.
Always amusing to see the fundies so red faced and fired up about atheists shitting everything up when the command structure they favor (To a fanatical degree.) consists of atheist objectivists.
Bending down on one knee to Bush, Koch, and Greenspan. And that fat oil tycoon fucker who started Swift Boats for Truth. Yes, from everything written about Jehova he wouldn't be pissed off at all that modern Christianity was being led by the moldering vagina of Ayn Rand!
I know athiests don't pray. That part was a joke. But we're still free to.
Bullshit like this is a waste of money, a waste of time, and serves as a fan to flame the epidemic of emotional decision making in your cracking states of america. How about this commercial?
What if we were rational?
What if we were educated?
What if we saw eachother as partners instead of obstacles on our path to fulfill god's secret master plan to user in super jew to save the day?
Hmm No rolling clouds of destruction. Let's explore space!

They don't love their God, they're just terrified of his ass. They actually HATE the fucker in the dark recesses of their psyche. But they don't even dare dwell on those thoughts lest hideous punishment befall them. The ultimate abusive relationship.
Like Jhonny the Homicidal Maniac constantly having to paint his walls in blood to keep the demon from escaping they have to keep constantly praying or God will come down and murder everyone.
Can you imagine how stressed and miserable their lives are?

Though I hate this transparent need to make everyone think that God has an official place in this country and pretend this isn't a completely arbitrary and unnecessary event , the only thing I really need is the fact that it doesn't pass the lemon test.
I don't think this event has much of a future. If not this year, one of the next 4 or 5 years will have the very last day of prayer. Of course even if that isn't the case, I still don't care enough about this issue to do anything about it.

They're doing the same thing here they used to get 8-year-olds pumped about movies about robots.
I want everyone to remember this fucking video the next time an atheist makes a sign that politely posits the non-existence of God and gets called an arrogant jackass. There are people who show this shit to their children, and ATHEISTS are the jackasses. Better a jackass than a propagandist.

I have nothing against religion, I just think the other ones have much cooler stories than Christianity.
I don't really give a flying fuck about some stoneage bitches stuck in a desert.
Mother_Puncher - 2011-04-06
That same house where that Attack! Attack! video was filmed. What kind of pitiful sense of self importance do these people have that they think prayer will change God's plan?
themilkshark - 2011-04-06
The worst thing anyone could do is not care about God, because it defuses the power that those on a Christian career path are so excited to wield.
chumbucket - 2011-04-06
Hell: bring it on!

"What if we forgot the God of our fathers?"
My dad thought God was, paraphrasing, "some kinda force or something" and that's about all you'd get out of him. He was some kind of non-practising agnostic deist.
What kinds of things do you think I should remember?
