What he did was better. You can really tell how much it's driving Jim Norton insane. Especially when he thanked him for his service to his country, this first time he does that you can see Norton realizing that he's going to be the one who looks like an ass and try to do damage control.
This show is like that guy you were friends with in college because you didn't know better, and this clip is like meeting up with him again years later and being horrified that he hasn't changed one bit.
They are assholes but sometimes I can't stop listening to their interviews. It's a mixture of smugness and disingenuous kindness that I find fascinating and the combination of Jim Norton's own pure self hatred that causes him to lash out at practically everyone is nothing less than amazing.
Well this is an embarrassing time capsule. Did people actually think that 9/11 Truthers like Jesse Ventura are noble intellectuals and that "if you didn't serve in the military, you get no say" is a slam dunk debate tactic? Fucking hell, was the satire in Starship Troopers TOO subtle for you people?
Jim Norton being a terrible human changes none of that.
