of all the possible games of 90's shareware week, this is the one I spent most time on. I think it still must be one of the PCs most competent fighters.

I played the shit out of this when it was new. For the time it had amazing graphics and music. I beat it with every robot, every pilot, every difficulty, and knew all of the special moves inside and out. I'll be damned if I could remember any of that stuff now, but god I wore this game out. The demo makes it look like it plays slow and laggy, but that's because they're level 1 bots. Once you started buying upgrades and such, the game sped up considerably.
