I am really confused right now. How many Americans in the market for a Corolla have even the slightest clue who or what Hatsune Miku is?
Redlof - 2011-05-06
Well, nobody expected Hatsune Miku to take off like it did even in Japan, so God only knows.

I like Vocaloid but they could have avoided using that ultra-high note. Ouch. Miku deserves better.

Yeah, but I want us to be WINNING to the tune of 'Packaged' , 'Ame Nochi Sweet Drops', or 'Arabesque'.

Old Spice understands the internet.

Toyota? Not so much.
Cena_mark - 2011-05-06
This ad campaign would work in Japan in the U.S. it'll only appeal to weeaboos who can't afford new cars.
fourthguy - 2011-05-06
Weeaboos can't afford new cars? I'm actually not sure how true that is. Seems like they have plenty of cash to throw at figurines/costumes/waifu pillows/DVDs/etc. There are people who spend thousands on merch at Otakon every year. I imagine money tends to pile up pretty fast when you're an adult with a white collar job but no social life or family to fund.

Cena_mark - 2011-05-06
That's exactly why they can't afford the new cars. They drive rust buckets because they buy all that plastic crap. I've seen weeaboo cars covered in weeaboo stickers that are pieces of crap.
SolRo - 2011-05-06
Hey retard, you ever notice people only cover shitty cars in stickers?

I've never seen a new car covered in stickers, no matter what the stickers say.

(scratch that, lots of christian republican idiots cover the ugly ass of their new mexican made SUV with retard slogans and that stupid fish)

Macho Nacho - 2011-05-06
It would have made more sense for Miku to market Oldsmobile rather than Toyota cars.
