All three books have already been made into massively successful films in Sweden, and all of them are officially released here in the US as well.

So..yeah...it's pretty much the usual Hollywood bankruptcy of ideas.

Spielberg was to remake Oldboy, starring Will Smith... Think about that for a minute.

Oh, God, that would have been horrendous.

And yes, there are people that actually won't watch a movie with subtitles. In fact, I missed out on the Swedish version of this movie because my girlfriend didn't want to bother with reading.

So I think we watched another Tyler Perry movie instead. Bleugh.
