So, the thing that makes me irate about Apple fanboys is the outrageous consumerism. I literally hate people that identify themselves that strongly with a corporate brand. I don't know why I feel like that, but I do.
Probably for the same reason I hate people who think Sarah Palin is in any way genuine, now that I think about it.
Because the people who derive their identity from a corporation (or in Palin's case, a "philosophy"), and pay tributes to said corporations to enhance their own "personalities" create a society (and legislature) that unnaturally leans toward corporate good that oppresses the rest of us with its undeserved, false power?
Umm, maybe on some level that I haven't built up a level of intellectual bullshit on. Right now, I'm just on, "I hate consumerism."
It is fitting that Apple products lower the survivability of their users.
