The song "I Believe" stands head and shoulders above the rest of the show, the whole of which is just more or less Avenue Q if the wishy-washy protagonist was a missionary instead of an English major.
But "I Believe" is great, especially the lines about the planet God is on and God changing his mind about black people.
The whole show is fun, harkens back more to Cannibal the Musical than say South Park, but I also think the "Baptize Me" song and the finale where they tell the corrupted story of Joseph Smith are pretty great. Also, the little nods to their other stuff in "Man Up" and "Spooky Mormon Hell Dream".
Really it's way better than it has any right to be.
