David Lynch is running out of ideas.

Macho Nacho - 2011-07-11

That is definitely a Monster logo on his back.

Your Monster fursuit:

memedumpster - 2011-07-11

So... much...

Born in the RSR - 2011-07-11

At least they're getting some exercise.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2011-07-11

And the smell is probably worse.

Xenagama Warrior Princess - 2011-07-11

What is the deal with con goers and energy drinks? I was security for a smaller con over the weekend and the majority of the people attending were downing blue bottles of Bawls and Monster like it was water.

It seems like most of the furries that attended were obsessed with the high-octane cough syrup - unfortunately less so with their hygiene.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2011-07-11

1. Meth is illegal.
2. You're paying a crapload for hotel and badges, sleep is a waste of money.
3. There is a mystique that if you're downing an energy drink, you have marginal super powers like a low-rent version of "The Flash." This is incorrect.
4. Those whose brains are full of caffeine are more likely to think their ideas are genius and totally correct, leading to a kind of recursive delusion where #3 is concerned.

notascientist - 2011-07-11

But there is more caffeine in a stiff cup of coffee than an energy drink AND coffee tastes better AND its much cheaper.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2011-07-11

Not if you get it from Starbucks (which usually owns the con hall cafe courts). :)

But yeah, the last time I checked a lot of the 'energy' in those drinks is based on the old saw that a large dose of B12 would give you a boost by making your metabolism increase, and then the various herbs/roots with stuff that's chemically similar to caffeine but either has been debunked as ineffective or hasn't really been given a good road test.

Coffee is a great source, and I enjoy the buzz from a bag of chocolate-covered espresso beans, m'self. Though never in any kind of a fursuit, thanks.

Old_Zircon - 2011-07-11

Starbucks coffee may taste bad and cost a lot, but it has more than twice the caffeine content by volume than most coffee, so in a pharmacological sense it's actually a pretty good deal.

Harveyjames - 2011-07-11

He fucks in a suit with a Dreamworks expression.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2011-07-11

So the losers were thrown OFF of the rooftop, right?

Old_Zircon - 2011-07-11

If they threw the losers off there wouldn't be anyone left.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2011-07-11

Does the last one jump, then?

fatatty - 2011-07-11

Sadly Pittsburgh is the first place they are truly accepted. Because they buy lots of food and booze.

One local restaurant temporarily changes its name from Fernando's to Furnando's for the week...I used to have so much respect for Fernando.

chumbucket - 2011-07-11

mesmerizing crazy

TypicalEllisProtagonist - 2011-07-11

The green and black thing bought a head with permanent Dreamworks face.

TypicalEllisProtagonist - 2011-07-11

For some reason I thought that had to be reiterated.

IrishWhiskey - 2011-07-11

It did.

This means his idealized fursuit persona has only two emotions it can express; "You frontin'?" and "What the hell is going on? I'm so very confused."
