was worth stars until "fail"
It would have been funnier with no dialog at all. Just have them do the old "look at each other and realize they don't pay us enough for this" bit.
Xeno don't you understand humor? It WOULD have been funny if they had explained the joke a little bit more. Maybe saying "That guy died and now we aren't going to try to go through those arrows because it's pretty dangerous which is funny because we are supposed to be brave soldiers even though we are running away."
They could probably fit in something about how the portal gun is from a different game in there too.

why don't those arrows lose momentum aaaa
There is air resistance in the Zelda world, and the orange portal was placed slightly above the blue, so that the height gain counteracted gravity.

Ha ha, Ganon already ate the cake.

Of course if this were a real Zelda game, the Portal Gun would be able to talk, and it would constantly be telling Link to go to the next dungeon.
And Link would ignore it and instead spend hours trying to find all the cats in town or something so he can bring them to an old lady for a heart piece.

They probably put that in the OoT 3D version.

the chicken thing is something I'd actually try.

I don't like the tone of the description. Are you saying the hookshot wasn't useful? You take that back.
Now do Portal but with the Hookshot!

-1 because from the title I was hoping this was a real playable rom hack :(

I liked this if just for the nod at that goddamned statue moving puzzle and how it reset when you inevitably had to return to the main part of the dungeon because there was another key hiding somewhere.
