I suppose she would be hot if she weren't the past victim of some unspeakable abuse
A pentagram necklace is a bigger turnoff than kids.
UH...THEY'RE NOT CALLED "SPELLS", THEY'RE CALLED MAJYCKAL INKANTATIONS AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION WITCHES (OR "WARLOCKS" LIKE MYSELF) DON'T CAST DARK MAJYCK ONTO PEOPLE
I'm glad she set me straight about the number of astral planes and quantum physics.
How is this suppose to be a taboo subject?
the lips are moving but the tits are hiding
Better than a big fat lesbian with a beard explaining this dogshit. I'll join your church miss, let the initiation sexual joining begin.
wait, she's canadian. Fuck that.
Where is the 'white people' tag?
It was astrally projecting. It's back on earth now.
Awesome! Thanks. Man. white people are so stupid.
I've met a few girls over the years who were either Otherkin or close (friends with full on Otherkin and saw nothing weird about it) and they were all shockingly hot. Which is counterintuitive to say the least.
When you are good looking you don't need to be smart.
Especially sorcerers. Their spellcasting is Charisma based. And, since draconic heritage is a major feature of the sorcerer class, it's a natural fit for Otherkin.
The plot thickens.
Bards often have draconic heritage, as well. Depending on your campaign setting.
As for them being smart, yeah, and I think that's part of the problem. It's the old Michael Shermer dilemma: intelligent people often have batshit crazy ideas, and the reason is because intelligence doesn't necessarily imply the presence of reason and good critical judgment. Rather, being intelligent simply means you're better able to explain your ideas and defend your positions, most of which may be wrong and many of which may have been acquired through irrational means. In other words, we tend to assume that smart people are right about the things they believe, while in fact smart people are just as likely to be wrong as everyone else, they've just got better BSing skills.
I think I mentioned this on PoE Red way back yonder, but I was an Otherkin once, too (way before "the scene" developed on the net, thank God, or I might have been brainwashed into sticking with it). I wasn't stupid; I was actually a very intelligent, imaginative kid. Too imaginative, as it turned out. I had some serious early childhood trauma, family triggers, hippie parents, you know, the classic 'kin story. And I was an idiot. I was a brilliant little idiot, who couldn't face up to the reality of being a powerless child in a broken home with failures for parents, and so found solace in the fantastic New Agey idea that somewhere, on the Astral Plane, I was a goddamn dragon, flying around pwning suckahs for looking at me funny. It made total sense at the time.
Is Otherkin a big Internet thing? Never heard of it until just now and I'm glad.
