StanleyPain Modern comedy is basically made by people who have extremely weak, shitty senses of humor so the comedy is all in the concepts and setup and never in the execution.

That's pretty much what most comics/comic writers get away with nowadays. The humor doesn't really have to go anywhere so long as it somehow SEEMS funny and/or references something else already known to be funny.

WHO WANTS DESSERT Comedy starting getting shitty right around my 12th birthday. Once I started to develop critical capacities and had a body of experience to compared them to, comedies just started going downhill!
