As the Daily Show once pointed out, Gretchen Carlson is a Stanford/Oxford grad who graduated cum laude. She consistently pretends to be a simple-minded Christian soccer mom as cynical appeal/manipulation of her audience.
In this case she does it by pretending Spongebob is far too complicated for her tiny female mind to follow, and all this science stuff is fuzzying up her Jesus loving brain.
Maybe the stupid just rubs off on her from her co-hosts.
"For a while we're cold, and then we get warmer and then we're cold and we get warmer. Which one is it?"
I know you like to dumb it down, Fox News, but could you at least hire people who understand the concept of seasons. For example: any four year old.
I usually defend Fox News, but I really hate Gretchen. The ignorance she exhibits is insane, plus I hate how she talks about atheists like they're boogeymen trying to take "In God we Trust" from everything.
To be fair: I'm totally fine with taking "In God we trust" off government endorsements.
Seriously. What was wrong with e pluribus unum?
Also, this lady must have an unbelievably low opinion of her audience if she thinks they'll relate to not liking Spongebob Squarepants because it's "too hard to follow." But I guess she'd know, right?

These people are missing the real story here: HOW CAN YOU HAVE A POOL WHEN YOU'RE ALREADY UNDERWATER.
See, Spongebob is based on real science.

What they are whining about never happened. The DOE never showed the video to kids. Imagine that, Fucked News didn't actually research the story they are reporting on. I swear to god they just take my uncle's email forwards and read them on air.

Jesus Christ, we have two wars on and three more theaters we're dealing with.
Their audience doesn't like to be reminded of those wars. Not anymore, anyway.
It's only war when we're fighting other white people.
