EvilHomer I'm sure Caminante can explain this one better than I, but from what I gather, Yu-Gi-Oh is one of those pre-adolescent anime series; like Pokemon or Digimon. It's designed to market toys to children and fat middle aged men, rather than to provide fap fuel for teens and fat middle aged men.
Not that it stops people mind you.
