I'm on a mac running Leopard and I use Chrome. Plugins = zero.

I do nothing special, but there is something wrong with my mac-side DNS settings (I run Parallels and shit usually works fine on the windows side). I am lazy and have gotten around this problem by flushing my DNS cache on a daily basis.

You still have front page privileges, right? Maybe that has something to do with it?

Yes, I have front page privileges and have had them for about 5 years. Nobody else that I know of with front page privilege has this.
