It's pronounced beh-lux-e. The apartment building across the street is being torn down for a condo development now. Remember, according to the insurance adjusters, there was no storm surge (fuckers). The pylons off in the water are what was left of the Beau's harbor and lighthouse. Note that the portion of the building where the gambling takes place is required to float under Mississippi law (written by bible-thumping idiots north of I-10), thus shutting down most of the economy there and resulting in a months-long battle to allow the casinos to come only so many feet on land. Also notice the wind damage and the very little amount of rain...noting that insurance would not pay for wind damage either. The gas is likely coming from one or both of the gas stations across the street, since they were both levelled during the storm. Also, a local club bit the dust over the course of the day as well.
