If only they had used my giant vaccum barge that builds other barges.

The Thadmiral did an alright job there. Sure it was a slow start, but there was a lot of red tape and environmental law to deal with. I know plenty of Coasties who were involved in the cleanup and they did some hard and dirty work.
I'm sure you know people that have done hard work.
I would imagine you'd be working with grossly incompetent individuals if they managed to sustain any of those injuries in the coast guard.
Much less doing environmental cleanup.
What kind of rhetorical question is that?
Shut up Burnov. You don't understand things.
The Coast Guard have a tough job. As the smallest and weakest of the Navy Family, they've got to play permanent Bottom to the Marine Corps' aggressive, oversexed Top. Sure, they don't get shot at much, but weeks straight of being in The Barrel can take it's toll on anybody.

It's so shocking that a Southern politician would blame the government for a failure of private enterprise. Billy Nungesser is a corrupt idiot and Thad Allen is one of the few government employees who came out of K looking like a grownup.

Tell me everything you know about which federal agency did what during Katrina.

While you're at it, tell me everything you know about Billy Nungesser and the (oil company-controlled) politics of Plaquimines Parish.
Are you talking to me? Because I'm not actually talking to you. ;)

Sucking the president's dick whilst castigating those farther down the chain of command whose job it is to take orders.

Just remember, all the oil is gone and all the animals are happy...Wolff Blitzer told me so.
