You could score points in Super Mario World?
kingofthenothing
How does the Lakitu trick work? He just disappeared. That was odd.
kingofthenothing
just tried the "making the cloud man disappear" thing on the American version. It does indeed work. I don't know how, it just does. Guy vanishes when you hold a block under the floating diagonal blocks.

Severe aspie case.

There is a fine line between aspie and merely Japanese.

Udderdude
It's common with easy games to see players create their own challenge to satisfy themselves.

pineapplejuicer
can we please have a "jaspanese" tag?

GravidWithHate
I skipped ahead to the end to see the final score. I was actually quite impressed in spite of myself.
MrBuddy
Did you notice he(?) also managed to do it without taking any damage?

chumbucket
There is no damage in super mario world, only death...lonely, horrific death

kingofthenothing
technically, there is damage. You have up to 2 hit points. This guy chose to roll with 1 the whole time.

You know the phrase "it takes skill to suck that bad"? From now on, this video is all I'll think about when I hear it.
ProfessorChaos
Dunno if it's fair to call this a speedrun, considering that the player dawdles to kill time in every level. That said, i imagine the people who like speedruns are also the sorts of people who like this sort of thing.
Mr. Purple Cat Esq.
I imagine the guy who did this living in a small pit in the desert with no clothes or possessions!! (he played his friends snes (or whatever!!))
