They've been trying to market it as not just for gay men looking for sex, but rather a wider market social app. Surprisingly, women haven't been too keen on the idea of anonymous men knowing what they look like, where they are and that they're interested in a social encounter.

Jesus, that was a great stunt. There was a blogger on Nat. Rev. going on about how all the women looked slutty to him at CPAC. He relates how he went into a CVS and saw 10 guys in line, all with CPAC badges, buying condoms. He connected the two things. I was like, PFFTTTT women?

An amusing aside, I met the largest GOP donor in NYC in the basement of an S&M/performance art club. He was chasing after a friend of mine, a sweet tranny from Georgia who would only berate you if you paid her. We all rolled our eyes; the poor fool was so desperate. How I knew, was when later I googled him, there was a pic of him giving the monster check to Dick Cheney and shaking hands. Lotsa press and all. Sheesh.

Well just move to NYC and check out the nite-life. I try to explain to my red-state relatives that the GOP stands for Grand Old Perverts, while the Dem's sit at home knitting sustainable organic socks and drinking soy chai but they just don't want to hear it. Good luck making any headway in that dept.
