Trolling is not something I associate with Portal of Evil. Granted, I stopped posting there a decade ago, but the only troll I can remember was Sociopath and he wasn't exactly a master of the craft. When you consider its origins (scouring the asshole of the internet for bizarre content), it's remarkable how decent the average poster was/is.
How many people were maintaining a false persona for the purpose of inciting a reaction out of people on POE from 2000 - 2002? Being a douchebag doesn't automatically make someone a troll.
The term "troll" has gone way too far out of bounds to be reclaimed for its originally intended purpose, hasn't it? It's a shame, because it was a really good term for people intentionally trying to infuriate.
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-poowater markthat place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.
Cowards! The problem with bullies is that they are not fearless and bold enough! Go to their house and kill their dog if you hate them so much!
Why is it that whenever I hear someone getting called a coward it's always somebody that caused harm to other people specifically because they didn't listen enough to their fear of negative consequences?
