The music was a really poor aesthetic decision. Whoever made this should have gone with something upbeat and silly. A better choice would have been anything by Bear Force One, "Come Away Fellow Sailors" from Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, or even Gay Bar.
Instead we get some humorless bullshit that sounds like someone listened to the soundtrack from the Batman movies one too many times.
I don't want a dick out here on vacation.
You don't have to lie,
I know I'll pay for that.
I don't want my mom to know
That I never was that straight
And I bought some rod.
Anybody that tells you homosexuality is a choice is telling you that they are choosing not to act on their homosexual attractions. Any straight person can tell you that homosexuality is not a choice they would be capable of making.
Yes. It's not homophobic to laugh at religious assholes for being so vocally dishonest with themselves though. Hopefully the idea of being one of those preachers will be more scary to some than the thought of being honest with yourself and your congregation.
For the record, judging from the soundtrack I think this video was made by a believer as a "ohhh nooo what's goooing on heeereeee? Ennnnd tiiiimes, for real this time" type thing.
Depends on whether you're dragging them through the mud for being gay, or dragging them through the mud for being a hypocritical self-loathing lying deceitful sleezebag who tries to limit the freedoms of people doing shit that he/she is doing secretly themselves. I'm pretty sure most people are doing it for the latter.
Its that they're homophobic and spreading lies and misinformation about gays. When they turn out to be gay it gives us that satisfying, "AH HA! Guess you were protesting too loudly" moment.
We don't have a problem with Openly gay preachers who don't spread hate. The Presbyterians recently voted to allow openly gay people preach there. We obviously don't have a problem with they're gay clergy.
