I don't even watch wrestling, but he's my favorite wrestler by osmosis from CornOnTheCabre in the Chat Room That Shall Not Be Named.

EvilHomer - 2013-08-03

Same here. I haven't watched wrestling since the Stone Cold days, but I love CM Punk. He's still got a ways to go to catch up to Jericho, but he's my favorite of the current-gen wrestlers, entirely through virtue of clips like these.

Is it just me, or does he kinda look like Mike Patton here?

Cena_mark - 2013-08-03

Catch up with Jericho? He beat Jericho at Wrestlemania.

EvilHomer - 2013-08-03

You know what I mean.

As I've said before, Jericho is a career midcarder who specializes in putting over younger talent and doing whatever needs to be done in order to keep the storyline engaging. He's one of the most talented and one of the best connected wrestlers in the industry, yet he's also team player; he doesn't let his well-deserved ego get the best of him. Instead, he works from the shadows, pulling the strings, as much at home in the office as in the ring, like some Hart-trained Illuminati agent.

CM Punk wins matches because he's popular and because people like Jericho want him to win. In fact, I'd be willing to wager that any wins he's had over Jericho were orchestrated EXPLICITLY by Jericho - you don't need to watch more than a minute of CM Punk working the crowd to see that he's essentially a younger Y2J. Chris has no doubt picked up on this, and has decided to train the drug-free padawan in the Heel Art of being an arrogant, erudite cockmongler.

I'm glad the announcer clarified that he wasn't kidding because I was doubting his seriousness.

needs 'meth charisma' tag

"A BUNCH OF GODDAMN ASSHOLES."

"I couldn't have put it any better!"

Colonel Cowlung - 2013-08-03

He has a Rocket from the Crypt tattoo. He's in the know.

spikestoyiu - 2013-08-03

These used to get you into RFTC shows for free. I wonder if that applies to their current round of reunion shows.

baleen - 2013-08-03

If he were really in the know it would be a Rocket from the Tombs tattoo.

Cena_mark - 2013-08-03

He also has a Cobra tattoo. He's a member of a ruthless terrorist organization determined to take over the world.

Colonel Cowlung - 2013-08-04

Speedo has addressed admission to the current tour. In short: no. He wrote up a description of a terrible joke tattoo that would get you in; I've seen no evidence that anyone has actually gotten one.

In addition, all RFTC fans must also be Rocket from the Tombs fans. It's by default.

I fully understand Andy Kaufman's desire to be a bad guy wrestler.

M-DEEM - 2013-08-03

This is great. I honestly can't tell if he's just playing a part. A satisfying what-for either way.
