Old_Zircon - 2014-02-25 It's more that they're sometimes barreling full speed through heavily populated areas at street level with no safety measures at all. That's how it was in Chicago in the 1890s and they averaged 4 train deaths A DAY.

gravelstudios - 2014-02-26 I knew a guy who was killed being hit by a train. We were best friends in 7th grade, drifted apart, then reconnected as adults. It's definitely one of the more senseless ways to die.
