-1 star for missing the golden opportunity to break all our hearts by having Andy Kaufman be the beloved cast member who's returning for his 25th season.

But luckily it had already won a bonus star for "THREE...UM..."

I don't get it. Does that mean I'm old? I hope so. I can't wait to get old and not care about things kids like.

Also, this is neither here nor there, but Bobby Moynihan is awesome. Sometimes he gets stabby.

PP it's just a clip from an episode that was basically a clip show (not really a spoiler but Rick installs a cable service that picks up television shows from other dimensions.) I'd best describe the show as "Back to the Future meets Dr. Who."

Anyway, this is part of a larger plot in which the whole family vicariously lives out what could have been in other dimensions, while Rick and Morty casually inter-dimensionally channel surf.

Of course, the clip where they watch a cartoon of an alien version of Garfield is already posted here, between "Gazorpazorpfield" straight up starts verbally abusing Jon and Rick and Morty's rambling conversation about how Lorenzo Music was the voice of Garfield AND Peter Venkman in the Ghostbusters cartoon, it's comedy gold.

"Hey Jon, It's me, Gazorpazorpfield. Boy, fuck you, Jon, you fucking dumb, stupid idiot."

I like how Gazorpazorpfield eats enchiladas instead of lasagna.

infinite zest that isn't usually what a "clip show" means

This whole show is awesome and I can't wait for season 2.

I think Zest meant an improv show. In that all the TV bits were literally just Justin Roiland and friends saying whatever came to mind into a microphone for 30-60 seconds, and then someone would animate it.

Anyway, Rick and Morty takes a couple of episodes to get going, but once it does, it can be the smartest new comedy to come along in years. And other times, butt jokes.

There is no opinion more exhilarating to read than "I have no opinion." Thank God you shared it.

yeah "clip show" was totally the wrong word. "sketch" would've been a little more accurate. This was actually my least favorite episode of the season, which says a lot because I really liked it.

So far it's probably my favorite "adult" animated series (not counting seasons 3-8 of the Simpsons) and yes, that includes Futurama. I love Futurama but there's too many sight gags like a reminder that yes, they are in the future and it looks different than present day, just look at Robo/holo-(insert celebrity here.)

R&M doesn't really have those rules. For example, Abradolf Lincler was "just something Rick invented a while ago," no further explanation needed. If I could change anything, I'd prefer a little less broken sentences from Roiland, but that's kind of his thing I guess. Great show.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2014-06-19

Definitely my favourite episode of Rick and Morty. It was more akin to Roilands internet crap and less about plot/drama.

Robin Kestrel - 2014-06-19

Seems like TV from other dimensions has a looser feel to it.

Every time I watch this I feel like I'm owed royalties.
