One of the few movies I watched religiously as a kid that turned out to be great into adulthood.
Are movie studios just giving up the fight on this stuff now? Because Predator is still a marketable brand and this is the only good movie of the franchise, and yet here it is, giving Jackal Hawk nearly a million hits on YouTube.
Yeah.. I turned out falling asleep (not the movie's fault I was just really exhausted) and it seemed to be pretty much Predator 1 again, but with some added fun stuff. So not really a remake (DEFINITELY not a PG13 remake, which seems to be what's in fashion these days) but more like just more of a good thing. Plus it had Machete.
I loved this movie as a kid. I even got up in science class one time to tell everyone about how the predator saw stuff in infrared. I didn't have a lot of friends.
Predators wasn't a terrible movie on its own merits, but it was really disappointing as a Predator film. It wasn't about the Predators themselves so much as the cliched roundup of Street Fighter mercenaries.
I still have not seen this. It's one of those movies I keep meaning to watch but never get around to watching. American Werewolf in London is the same. Funnily enough I have seen Predator 2.
