I dunno, I think I'd be kind of flattered by mostly harmless Leisure Suit Larry pick up lines that can potentially break the ice vs. the alternative, which is usually manipulation that's either being kind of an asshole or being overly friendly and polite.. chances are it's the same objective, or at least that's the vibe.

For these particular women (well, most of them, some of them look like they're just attending the show), drawing the attention of greasy creeps is literally their job so they're probably well prepared for it.

I guess what I'm saying is the whole "women used as props at trade shows" business is far worse than this guy's cartoon pickup lines.

There used to be a guy on cable access out here who had a similar routine going on.. it's not really worth submitting (unfortunately his good stuff isn't on the YT) but he'd go around naked save for a XXXL t-shirt and interview ladies on the street and say all sorts of cheesy pickup lines, and it seemed to work.
