John Holmes Motherfucker - 2016-01-12
Whenever I watch this, I think of watching it on the Midnight Special at the age of 15, and how thrilling it was to finally see Bowie perform. I'd been reading about Bowie, and looking at freaky photographs, for months. Even if you lived through it, it's hard to imagine the world before there was the internet, no DVDs, no VCRs, not even MTV. You could see things when they were on TV, and that was it. The experience was rare and precious.
Title notwithstanding, this isn't the complete show. It's just the Bowie parts. There was a band called Carmen, and a couple of great numbers from the legendary Troggs.
