by having the rocket exert a force on the transducer..... then math the shit out of the result.
Very cool. Did they say what the weights are made from? I know tarnish can be issue on tiny calibration weights.
Prolly just a steel of some kind, from the looks of them. I'm sure platinum would be preferable, but at 16,000 USD per pound, the whole stack would set them back a cool 16 billion.
