"What don't I do around here?"
"What don't you do around here?"
"Windows! And oral!"
(Begin song to the tune of H.M.S. Pinafore, cause kids LOVE references to 19th century comedic opera!)

Yes, let's see where the watery, considerably less consistent alternative to the Slurpee is made.

Thanks for reminding me of one of my many pet peeves growing up: this fucking script pattern:

Character 1: I'm using a BigWordThatsNotAllThatObscure.

Character 2: BigWord-Who???

Character 1: BigWordThatsNotAllThatObscure. It means...

Yes, we knew what that word meant, thanks. More importantly, why would Character 2 say "Who"??? Did "BigWord" sound like a first name? No, no it did not. Go die in a fire, 80s kiddie shows.

Yes, I was often frustrated & angry as a child. How could you tell?

Similar to the thing you see on historical dramas where (King Henry VIII or whoever) says something in Latin, and then immediately gives the English translation, a thing that wouldn't have happened, because everybody spoke Latin.

Anaxagoras - 2018-03-31

Yes! Exactly! Just subtitle it for those of us (like me) that don't speak Latin.

Grumble grumble.
