Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2008-09-30
I don't know whether the angle at 1:11 is the work of an incompetent videographer or a genius.
The expression on McCain's face is priceless.

She explained her position in detail to a voter and its wasn't a hurried or misunderstood answer. And we damn well know the context didn't influence her answer because she repeated the same position to Charlie Gibson in their previous interview.
Can you not somehow just admit you two disagree? Obama and Biden admit to different positions all the time. Why the ventriloquism act?

IrishWhiskey - 2008-09-30 John McCain:
"In all due respect, people going around and... sticking a microphone while conversations are being held, and then all of a sudden that's--that's a person's position... This is a free country, but I don't think most Americans think that that's a definitive policy statement made by Governor Palin."
Aka, Sarah Palin is not authorized to speak for Sarah Palin.

if you're struggling under the questioning of Katie Couric it's a definite sign that you're in way over your head

It's about time the McCain campaign started hitting back at their own voters. TOTAL MAVERICK!

Dad, make teacher stop being so mean to me

Gotcha Journalism = Asking you to clarify your own statements. McCain's just pissed because they practiced "gotcha Journalism" in that gook sweatbox he lived in for five years.

I'm so glad "Gotcha journalism" has become a successful McCain talking point.

McCain: What Governor Palin meant was blah blah blah, but I'll let her speak for herself, RIGHT PALIN?!
Palin: Uh yeah, what he said.

The Snickler - 2008-09-30
The smugness with which McCain always speaks (even when he knows he is wrong) makes me hate him on such a personal level that it is impossible to describe the degree of hatred I have in real terms.
I think my first response to seeing him in the street would be to kick him in the chest.
|
Bruce182 - 2008-09-30 It would be even better if you sneak up behind him, and raise his arms really fast.

5 stars for you Mr. Bruce. On both counts.
Also The Snickler I've come to live in the same mental space as you too. I really liked him in 2000. I really liked him when he was willing to go on the Daily Show and just act (perhaps more than I realized at the time) like a cool guy who didn't pander to the crazy-right and called Bush on his bullshit.
Now when he talks and grimaces and forces smiles and panders like a motherfucker I can't help but want to put him in a cage for five years and hook electrodes to his twitching disgusting eyeballs.

People who smile when they're angry are really creepy.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

mon666ster - 2008-09-30
Whenever Palin's speaking, McCain has this look on his face that just screams "Fuck, I coulda been president".

He has this sort of violence within him that is very reminiscent of George W. Bush when he would be interviewed.
