It could have been much better made. That said, THIS would be an awesome movie.

The original movie was THE most polarizing movie when I went to high school. All the gals loved it, and all the guys hated it. I am not exaggerating. It was perfectly split down the gender line. What little of it I have seen mostly made me go "meh", along with a few "Oh, PLEASE!"es.

Suck it up. Go to the YouTube profile behind Powder 2. There's all kinds of awesome on there, including a Beastmaster swede so good it's got plus six votes in the hopper right now despite being a massive, obvious dupe.

Orion was a studio that appears in a lot of 80's/late 90's stuff. They went under quite a while ago. It's a nice, subtle nod to the time that this parodies.
