CornOnTheCabre - 2008-12-11

i would easily watch 300 hours of this

Toenails - 2008-12-11

Please tell me the original movie was this awesome.

5 stars for so many things, but especially for the kid with the bloody nose.

StanleyPain - 2008-12-11

The original was a retardedly heavy-handed "be nice to outsiders" kind of thing, with a creepy semi-gay undertone. And I say creepy not because of the gay, but because the director had already had some legal troubles with statutory rape of a boy or something like that.
It could have been much better made. That said, THIS would be an awesome movie.

klingerbgoode - 2008-12-12

and then he directed jeepers creepers!

wart - 2009-02-22

By "legal troubles" I think you mean "went to jail for molesting the kid during the making of Clownhouse"...

joelkazoo - 2009-03-05

The original movie was THE most polarizing movie when I went to high school. All the gals loved it, and all the guys hated it. I am not exaggerating. It was perfectly split down the gender line. What little of it I have seen mostly made me go "meh", along with a few "Oh, PLEASE!"es.

That said, Awesome Vid!

Bort - 2010-07-20

The original "Powder" probably says something about how the world looks to a pedophile who considers himself a genius: hated by the mediocre for his manifest superiority.

DerangedGoblin - 2008-12-11

That was amazing.

GoneGirl - 2008-12-11

God bless people who put this much effort into making things for which they get very little return.

wtf japan - 2008-12-11

You should really check out their other videos. They have been touched by the hand of God.

thirteen3seven - 2008-12-11

Of course Powder would rock out with a keytar band.

eatenmyeyes - 2008-12-12

You need to rock pretty hard to get away with playing a keyboard as a keytar. They got there.

Scrub - 2008-12-11

Now we need Powder on Ice!

chumbucket - 2008-12-11

the kid gets all my stars

Poor Excuse - 2008-12-11

And mine. We're up to 10. If we can make it to 100 this young man's career will know no bounds.

lucienpsinger - 2008-12-11

These guys won second place in this year's Unnecessary Sequels competition with this. Other unnecessary sequels included Aliens vs Predator vs Rocky, The Monster Squad 2, It's a Wonderful Life 2: Wings of Vengeance, The Seventh Sense, and two separate sequels to Over the Top.

The first one won: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cy46dGOHc1U

And the second made me laugh the hardest, maybe because I'd seen Over the Top the previous week and someone was doing a spot-on Robert Loggia impersonation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mawrsjDmQmg

lucienpsinger - 2008-12-11

All of the ones from this year's competition are linked to here: http://www.filmmakingfrenzy.com/sites/filmfrenzy_beta/ViewFrenzy.a spx?FrenzyId=8

Holy shit. The trailer for Close Encounters of the 4th Kind, while not very good, managed to include something just this side of full frontal.

CornOnTheCabre - 2008-12-11

:(

i liked this alot better when I assumed it was made in a vacuum, or possibly as an advertisement for wanting to party with this group of people (in which case it takes 1st Place in my heart)

lucienpsinger - 2008-12-11

Suck it up. Go to the YouTube profile behind Powder 2. There's all kinds of awesome on there, including a Beastmaster swede so good it's got plus six votes in the hopper right now despite being a massive, obvious dupe.

lucienpsinger - 2008-12-11

(That will hopefully make up for some of the disappointment.)

Aubrey McFate - 2008-12-11

SCHOOL IS FOR FOOLS

THE POOL RULES!!!!

Aubrey McFate - 2008-12-12

I only just now realized how brilliant the Orion intro is.

eatenmyeyes - 2008-12-13

please explain

Aubrey McFate - 2008-12-17

Orion was a studio that appears in a lot of 80's/late 90's stuff. They went under quite a while ago. It's a nice, subtle nod to the time that this parodies.

There. I've explained the joke. Happy?

eatenmyeyes - 2008-12-25

I thought there was something besides that I was missing. Sorry to have bothered you.

Cena_mark - 2008-12-11

Five stars, I was laughing all the way through it.

Jeff Fries - 2008-12-11

HEY REMEMBER THE 80s

allcaps - 2008-12-14

Nope.

Sorry, were you watching a video on Youtube? Or did someone mail you a betamax?

TeenerTot - 2008-12-11

Awesome.
But I kept expecting to see Corey Feldman.

dementomstie - 2008-12-11

There was the Pseudo-Corey Haim by the pool reading Penthouse.

Blaise - 2008-12-12
