Not to nit-pick, but the title is a clever twist on a spun tale, thus the spelling.

Stars for memories of many a wasted afternoon of this followed by 'Duck Tales'.

Smellvin - 2010-03-11

... and now that I change the name to it's correct, incorrect spelling, I find that it's a dupe. :(

It's actually a pretty bizarre concept.

Disney's Jungle Book characters flying planes, getting into dogfights in an anthropomorphic representation of a island community.

Xenocide - 2010-03-11

In an alternate 1940's where the second world war never happened and the depression seems to have been ended by massive corporate consolidation leading to the rebirth of the robber barons of old.

There was a lot more going on in this show than you'd think. I'm afraid to type its name into google these days for fear of what the internet has done with it.

Goethe and ernie - 2010-03-12

I seem to remember them running aerial refuelling stations suspended by balloons or something. Or was that just one episode?

cognitivedissonance - 2010-03-11

You know, I watched the fuck out of this, and I never developed a fursona. What happened?

megaspy2000 - 2010-03-11

you did it right

MongoMcMichael - 2010-03-11

I wonder if the Disney Afternoon animators know they were almost single-handedly responsible for future furries' MILF material.

Xenocide - 2010-03-11

I didn't develop a fursona, but I did start reading up on old planes. I quickly learned that the show's planes weren't very accurate, and decided this was history's fault for not being as cool.

Aubrey McFate - 2010-03-11

I can't see this show without thinking of all the crazy fan sites on old PoE.

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-03-11

Yeah, pretty much.

Raggamuffin - 2010-03-12

Turning the Jungle Book into this is like if they made Aladin into a wall street hedge fund manager, or Winnie The Pooh an astronaut.
