Fuck yes.

I would pay money for this.

endlesschris - 2010-04-03

I don't even have to watch it to know this rating doesn't even come close to the amount of stars it truly deserves.

I still think first-year film students should be required to watch his Phantom Menace review.

endlesschris - 2017-03-15

Yeah they should

Urkel Forever - 2010-04-03

OH GOD I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS. Five stars before i even watch it!

RocketBlender - 2010-04-03

This has probably been said here before already, but I was seriously looking forward to this more than I was the actual attack of the clones. Fuck, I didn't even see that in theaters. I would pay to go see this in iMax. No hesitation. Even knowing it's free right here.

splatterbabble - 2010-04-04

I wonder if you can just send him through PayPal.

RockBolt - 2010-04-04

There is a paypal donate button on the redlettermedia.com site, I think I will be making a contribution to further this worthy cause myself

spencer - 2010-04-04

There is also a PayPal donate button cleverly hidden in this review. See if you can find it!

Camonk - 2010-04-04

I too am going to subsidize my own entertainment.

Camonk - 2010-04-03

The nightmare of my life is just beginning.

APE_GOD - 2010-04-03

These are basically therapy for the trauma lucas caused children born in the 80's by making the prequels.

This man is a cultural therapist.

The Mothership - 2010-04-15

Agreed. Wednesday, 14 April, 2010; watched the first part when initially submitted, loved it. Watched all subsequent parts in an hour long row today. Best afternoon in a long time.

Aoi - 2010-04-03

The various parts beyond the first are still being released, so I'm gonna go ahead and say "screw multi-part submissions, just click on the next part once the current one ends".

Enjoy!

Man Who Fights Like Woman - 2010-04-04

I waited for it all to come out before submitting, and I pay for my reluctance. Multi-part is broken anyway!

Aoi - 2010-04-04

I was thinking about trying to re-submit with a multi-part or something, but I came to the conclusion that people were smart enough to follow the related videos at the end to link it all up.

...and multi-part submissions are broken, anyway.

kennydra - 2010-04-04

god yes god yes god yes oh fuck orgasm

hentaiwolf - 2010-04-04

I had to stop watching just to login so I could five star it.

Wander - 2010-04-04

I'm not watching this until they're all uploaded but I'm still gonna favorite it.

Riskbreaker - 2010-04-04

Yes yes yes.

phalsebob - 2010-04-04

I already know why the prequels sucked. I just want to hear it again... from a serial killer.

phalsebob - 2010-04-04

Also, what the hell is wrong with youtube lately. It's like it's going out of it's way to be unhelpful.

sosage - 2010-04-04

Just for the section explaining how Lucas has absolutely no clue about the dating ritual.

kingarthur - 2010-04-04

Red Letter Media Fuck Yeah!

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2010-04-04

What if this is George Lucas himself?

Squeamish - 2010-04-04

The best one yet.

Also, the one with the strongest Silent Hill vibe.

Nikon - 2010-04-04

I completely agree with this guy's take on Attack of the Clones.

Albuquerque Halsey - 2010-04-04

I just got relationship advice from a serial killer.

Nikon - 2010-04-04

The guy's loved so many women that ended up in separate pieces wrapped in garbage bags.

boner - 2010-04-04

I know a 4 year old who would watch this movie every day. Everyone else should avoid it.

Space Helicopter - 2010-04-04

Is it too late to introduce the aspie to books?

joelkazoo - 2010-04-04

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

spencer - 2010-04-04

Even better than I was hoping for!

FABIO - 2010-04-04

Sometimes a man's just gotta say "no" to the women in his life. This goes for all your female friends wanting to have parts in your next Star Wars review.

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2010-04-04

"blood flowing down to her sex-hole"

Cleaner82 - 2010-04-04

Jesus Christ it is about time. I was jonesin' bad man.

CrimsonHyperSloth - 2010-04-04

5 stars. No explanation needed.

dr_mr_vandertramps - 2010-04-04

YES

memedumpster - 2010-04-04

The prequel review trilogy will go down in history as the best thing since the original trilogy. I envision a box set that comes with all six.

takewithfood - 2010-04-04

I would buy that box set.

Billie_Joe_Buttfuck - 2010-04-04

that was amazing

spectacular.

fatatty - 2010-04-04

I hope he makes George Lucas cry.

Syd Midnight - 2010-04-04

Aww I'd have gone through and 5-starred each part.!

Aoi - 2010-04-04

That would just clog up the 'last 7 days/last 30 days/all time' pages!

Really, I did it to help chet out.

I'm such a humanitarian.

StanleyPain - 2010-04-04

He emailed me a pizza roll. It wasn't as good as I was expecting.

Stopheles - 2010-04-04

Instant eleven stars.

Paracelsus - 2010-04-04

I had no idea this would be this good.

badideasinaction - 2010-04-04

I've never sat through all of Attack Of The Clones, and I just sat through this. Brilliant.

Nikon - 2010-04-05

He just upped the last part.

RockBolt - 2010-04-05

I want to gold plate and frame part 5

longwinded - 2010-04-06

part 5 is required viewing

the whole goddamn thing is a breathtaking work of staggering genius. I guess these movies were worth it in a way

The Mothership - 2010-04-13

Yea, part 5 was good.

HURF BLURF DUH - 2010-04-05

BUT WHAT YOU DIDN'T REALIZE IS HOW FUCKING WRONG YOU WERE

Magical Man from Happy-Land - 2010-04-05

I dont give a fuck about star wars but I still think this is great.

Billie_Joe_Buttfuck - 2010-04-05

yes this

CornOnTheCabre - 2010-04-05

im on about my third go-through of this

kennydra - 2010-04-05

copyright claim by cartoon network?

FUCK YOU.

FUCK YOU.

Aoi - 2010-04-06

It seems that some asshole with a history of stealing material from others mysteriously posted the video on his channel immediately after it was removed by youtube due to the copyright claim.

He's not ascribing any ownership to Redlettermedia, and isn't offering any indication that he didn't make it himself. Goes by the youtube name of JohnSkipable.

His account has apparently just been suspended as a horde of angry Plinkett fans descended upon his channel and reported him to youtube.

The copyright claim itself seems to have come from Cartoon Network itself, though, and thus far seems to be limited to just part 1 of the review. I can't recall anything from the Clone Wars series in the first video, but it may have been in a toy calvacade or something. Or Lucasarts may have asked them to do it. Who knows.

Anyway, here is a link to RedLetterMedia's channel, where you can see the rest of the reviews. Hopefully this problem is resolved quickly, considering the entire review should fall under fair use and parody.

http://www.youtube.com/user/RedLetterMedia

Aoi - 2010-04-06

Update, from the creator himself: "I am trying to contact youtube's copyright department to verify the claim. The rumor is that another youtube user made the claim and then uploaded part 1 to his own page to get traffic there. Although I'm not sure on this. Still looking into this matter.

Additionally another video of mine was flagged and removed for "community standards" my Care Boars video. So, enjoy my page while you can. It seems evil forces are at work to get my account deleted. Yeah youtube! "

Broose182 - 2010-04-07

Yes sir.

Hay Belly - 2010-04-09

I'm not going to lower the rating but my SO and I couldn't watch past part 3. It was horrible. I'm so disappointed because I was really looking forward to it and it sucked. I couldn't hear him too well and the girls interrupting made everything he said hard to follow. Big letdown.

Space Helicopter - 2010-04-10

Don't worry he took care of the girls.

Bort - 2010-05-24

For some reason it's not accepting my updated link:

IrishWhiskey - 2010-08-29

"And now we gotta sit through this seizure inducing battle with two forces we don't care about: robots and clones. At least in the last movie, we mighta sorta cared about the Gungans a litt.... Oh CHRIST! I'm referencing The Phantom Menace as a positive example!?!"

Part 9 in particular, he stops trying to be funny (although he still is) and simply compares the analogous parts of Empire and Clone wars. Its devastating and as good a film review as I've ever heard.

Sexy Duck Cop - 2015-12-24

Time jump. Have a fun cold open where Palpatine sends Quin Gon and Obi-Wan on a mission to Tatooine that turns out to be relevant to the plot. They run into Annakin, Obi-Wan discovers he's gifted, so they bring him back. Boom. Fifteen years later, some fun adventures together while Palpatine gains power as the B-plot. Eventually, both stories weave together into the creation of Darth Vader.

You're welcome, George.
