Christ, that Seton Motley guy can't even speak proper grammar! And like all "great" conservative talking heads, he LOVES the Appeal to Ridicule fallacy.
Things are already getting pretty hot up in Madison. Lots of angry rumblings. Walker is just insane enough that he would send the guard out to quell a peaceful protest, and there's people in the unions who will be happy to take some lumps if it gets on the evening news and shows the rest of the country what a prick the governor is.
Or he could be pulling a President Adar and hoping this thing escalates so heads can be busted. Because to this sort respect and fear are the same thing.
Made it two and a half minutes before I had to quit out of disgust. Public sector jobs get plush salaries and benefits my ass.
After graduating with my B.S. in mechanical engineering I looked at job opportunities in both the public and private sector. An engineering position with the DOD in Washington DC had starting salary in the 33-35k/year range while the same position with a private contractor earned about 50k/year. Unless the benefits of the public sector job included several ounces of gold I think this guys conclusions may be backwards.
Five stars for this teabagger managing to elicit more rage from me than most idiots of his ilk.
Or you just have to be employed during a budget-slashing spree.
This is the double-edged sword. Whether or not you keep your job in this sector has next to nothing to do with how well you do it. You can be a total incompetent and keep your job. You can be the best employee in the department and lose it. In either case, the cause will probably be some politician you never met picking your job title from a hat.
