Indeed.

Dr. Lobotomy - 2011-02-25
The jarring mix of standard early 90's satam animation and concentration camps with "final solutions" involving tossing people into the sun.
Plus the hairstyles were insane.

Huh. Pretty decent plot for an action cartoon. I guess a sort of American Gundam? I'm interested in this but it's no Inhumanoids

I once traded my G2 tank Megatron for a J.T Marsh figure with exo-suit.
I still regret that.

Yeah, it was alright... For a NON-anime!
All 4 of my stars are for Wolf Bronski. Wolf Bronski made this show for me.

glasseye - 2011-02-26 Exo squad was a million times better than any anime bullshit.

Exo squad was the first american cartoon i can remember that had a continuing story. At a time where cartoons were just there to sell toys a story was a very innovative thing

Can't help but think how much better this show would have been if it wasn't handicapped by trying to sell toys.
Avatar was a better kids cartoon, but this handled the whole "war is hell" thing a lot better. Airbender talked a lot about how bad the war was, but no one ever died. Off the top of my head Exo had racial genocide, concentration camps, sun-based slaughter ovens, systematic starvation, paratroopers getting killed on the jump down, collaborator executions, reeducation camps. Plus a pretty damn good kids' intro to darker social issues.

THIS IS WHAT SCIENTOLOGISTS ACTUALLY BELIEVE.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2011-02-26
This, along with Captain Power, are just screaming for a Battlestar Galactica-style remake with upped production values.
A million stars for a cartoon that featured the heroes taking out the bad guys by shooting in the face at point-blank range.

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-02-26
I had these toys and I loved how you could jack your pilots into their suits via their pre-matrix head ports. I collected a bunch of these things without ever seeing this show. I didn't miss much, I guess.
