Why Lady Gaga?
Why Antonio Banderas?
Why half these people?

Mother_Puncher - 2013-05-30 Thanks for clearing that up. You're always there for me.

Cena_mark - 2013-05-31 I marked for Mel Gibson. Something cracks me up about him being in a film made to piss off racists.

Mel Gibson doing community service, I see.
|
Riskbreaker - 2013-05-31 It's not like he has many movie options these days.
|
Adham Nu'man - 2013-06-01 He's saving up the money to make Berserker, his Viking movie colossal, which will be his great comeback.
Or more likely, he's just throwing all the money up his nose.

Kept hearing a strange gleeful squealing sound throughout that trailer. Turns out it was me.

The whole Grindhouse revival thing is older than old by now. Still i'll probably watch this for kicks-

LetsFistAgain - 2013-05-31 I reckon that was supposed to be a punctuation mark.

You know, all the criticism of Tarantino making big fanboy wankfest movies applies much more accurately to Rodriguez. The first Machete, thanks to having so much "cool stuff" was some agonizingly boring shit. This looks like more of the same.
|
EvilHomer - 2013-05-31 Except Rodriguez actually makes fanboy wankfests. When Q-ball wants to do a fanboy wankfest, he doesn't just do a fanboy wankfest, he has to pile layer after layer of smug postmodernism on top of it. This is so you know that, while he's clearly aware of all the lowbrow materials he's referencing, he's still a super clever artsy-fartsy director, and totally not the kind of dirt-sucking neanderthal who'd make a cool, fun movie just for the sake of making a cool, fun movie.
|
SolRo - 2013-06-01 yet he keeps making cool, fun movies.
go back to your pony diatribes.
