Disguising your missionary program as an effort to "help" people in a war torn area of the world when, in reality, all you care about is trying to convert people and expand your influence is VERY fucked up. Especially when your funding comes from an organization that's actively trying to make it legal to kill gay people for being gay.
Oh, and let's not forget the irony of a bunch of batshit crazy right-wing fundies trying to make money by criticizing one of the most effective and best batshit crazy right-wing fundies on the planet.
Guys, guys, can we at least agree that a Christian group TARGETING another Christian group is politically acceptable? I mean, sure, if this guy was an atheist there'd be no problems with his organization at all, but Kony's a Christian too, so really the sky god stigma cancels itself out.
Here's a Boing Boing article that features the videos that Brooker talks about:

I haven't kept up on the Kony thing. At first I thought that the video that got submitted here before of dancing child soldiers was the one everyone was watching, and I totally didn't get why.
Now that it's been explained to me, I still don't. And I don't have to watch it, either. Thanks, Charlie Brooker!
