Oh, it totally sucks that the US is policing countries on the other side of the globe, but is the solution to Mexico's problems more world policing? Maybe it is, but I'd like some factz.

Militarizing the entire US-Mexico border with the US Army and Marines (drones, tanks, brigades, &c.), including a few hundred miles off shore with the Navy after a few years would probably do the trick. I'm not saying it's viable, but 100k troops on boarder with serious armaments would be hard to penetrate.
