Triggerbaby - 2012-10-18 I don't know what this is all about but it's amusing and it makes fun of Ctrl-Alt-Delete so five stars.
jreid - 2012-10-18 Anyone looking for context of a sort:
It looks like a storyline where the protagonist travels into the future and the world has been taken over by xbox robots who are enslaving and murdering the human race, but I didn't read any of it because fuck that. This 1:46 video is infinitely more entertaining than the entirety of CAD could ever hope to be.
FABIO - 2012-10-18 It's a SERIOUS plot line, like when Penny Arcade decides to tackle robot racism.
BHWW - 2012-10-19 The ranks of the worst webcomics include those that are happy doing the inane shit wacky gamer dudez or whatever and their sassy girlfriends that tell it like it is and a wacky robot or huggable animal mascot that is edgy and angry towards things but still hangs out with the wacky guys and the sarcastic guys and the saracstic chicks who are constantly rolling their eyes because you know, "MEN!"
Then suddenly there's a 'serious' plot involving the main wacky dude being the only one who can stop an evil supernatural menace or getting mixed up with some bad dudes and SHIT GETS REAL and IN THIS ISSUE, A CHARACTER DIES! and someone reveals how their parents abused them as a child, and of course the Buckleys and other two-bit hacks who can barely manage to draw or write something that just faintly resembles a joke or punchline manage to shit the bed even worse than they usually do.
Rosebeekee - 2012-10-18 Minus 1 star because a miscarriage joke would have been perfect.
Macho Nacho - 2012-10-18 It's sort of tucked in there at 0:47.
SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-10-19 Not so! There are a great many that out-funny syndicated strips.
The hard part is the fact that the internet has no editor. The only way you can stop a bad webcomic is if the ones behind it run out of money or interest, so there's a huge pile of crap you have to wade through to find the ones that are worth your time.
That said, the bad ones can be kind of amusing, from a "stop and look at the trainwreck" perspective. I kind of miss the Bad Webcomics section on the old POE-red site.
