There's brilliant John Carpenter, and then there's...this.

Netflix has really been depressing me lately. I keep seeing recent sub-SyFy movies directed by former greats. John Carpenter seems to do them exclusively now, and I just stumbled across "Splatter", a horrendous series starring zombie Corey Feldman directed by Joe Dante :(

why would you submit something just for the prel-YAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

Everything Corey Feldman did since Dream A Little Dream stars zombie Corey Feldman.

Cocaine's a hell of a drug.

John Carpenter got burned out, tired of having to fight for every inch of his film or whatever, it's a thing that happens, sadly.

FABIO
I meant LITERAL zombie Corey Feldman.

I didn't know cocaine does that to your voice. He sounds like Bale Batman 24/7.

The one with Stacy Keach and David Warner is the only one worth watching. It made my skin crawl the first time I saw it.

I know I'm probably stupid for asking but...what's special about the preview image?
Rovin
It's because Stacy Keach's head and Ozzy Osbourne's hair don't go together.

I actually watched this on Showtime back in the early '90s. I remember liking it. It was also the first time I had seen Mark Hamill since Return of the Jedi, so maybe I was just in shock because holy shit, Luke Skywalker has a mustache.
