Somehow it's gayer than Ranma
I *hope* Ranma wasn't gay. I always had to struggle with how hot he was as a chick, especially since he was the sluttiest one, always prancing about topless with his perfect tits all bouncing around. I mean, at worst, he was a post-op tranny. But he wasn't a tranny, not really - the body he inhabited WAS the body of a girl, a couple thousand year old dead girl. And if a dude bodyswaps with a chick, she's still a chick, right? Like if I were to swap bodies with my sister. She'd still be my sister, from a biological standpoint. I could on her clothes and stuff, and it wouldn't be weird.
Scientifically speaking, there's nothing gay about that. Might be some necrophilia you've got to worry about, but Ranma Chan is all girl, no tranny... right?
Television shows like this one.
*scared heterosexual virgins
I experienced the same confusion when I was into Ranma 1/2. But I just wished that he was gay so he'd do it with dudes as that chick. I was a pretty progressive kid, considering my very American upbringing.
One of my favorite things about Ranma was that he was never afraid to exploit his female self to get free food or manipulate his dumber foes.

I wonder how quickly Internet creepers will start jerking it to this? The answer: very. Very quickly.
Will they be called SheZownies? Or just Zownies... hmm. SheBros. BroZows?
Either way, this seems custom-tailored for internet weirdos.
As of this writing, Paheal has 85 images (all pornographic) tagged "Shezow". DeviantArt has 271; extrapolating from what we find on the first page, probably a third of them are pornographic.

does he just dress like a girl or does he turn into a girl?
Whaaaat-- that's lame. If this were a Japanese cartoon, he's turn into an actual girl AND have tentacles.

I think we've reached some sort of tipping point. We've gone from weird fetishes caused by children's cartoons to children's cartoons caused by weird fetishes.
cross-dressing is a fetish yes, but it's hardly a weird one nowadays. Holler at me when they start making vore/inflation/furry superheroes. Oh wait....
Yes, cross-dressing is a normal fetish. But this is "oops my proxy cartoon character got magically transformed into a girly girl!" which is an internet fetish, and should not be published seen outside of semen-stained webcomics, much less as a childrens cartoon.

This is basically just some crossdresser's life story but with superheros jammed in.
the protagonist is just an average wimpy kid but is empowered by wearing women's clothes, and his dad (the police officer? a representation of traditional authority?) would "have a cow" (become angered) if he found out.
I'm guessing the "big sister" character represents either an actual sister or a more experienced crossdresser who helps guide and instruct younger people just getting into crossdressing, for example: using lipstick.
There's also a computer with feminine lips which, along with the big sis, is considered the brains of the outfit. I'm going to assume that the computer represents the internet at large and the online crossdressing/transgender community.
The last five seconds shows a taller, more masculine boy giving Shezow a knowing nudge and sly look, and Shezow, now feminized and receptive to male sexual advances, nudges back.

All my stars are for the people who act like this cartoon is the most momentously evil thing ever made, completely ignoring Looney Tunes, Ranma 1/2, Naruto, and a dozen other cartoons that used gender bending as a schtick.
It's not gender bending, it's forced sissification. That's not a schtick, it's a fap.
You are really going out of your way to turn this into an offensive fetish thing, Syd.
I'm more offended by the stereotypes and gender roles it reinforces, but figured that POEsters would more easily recognize the feminisation fantasy angle.
Complaints about stereotypes and gender roles are usually empty, meaningless, and lacking in substance. You're better off complaining about the fetish potential.
If you can look at a cartoon that wasn't made by actual bronies and all you can fixate on is what particular fetish group will get tweaked by it, you are part of the problem you are raging against.

Still, five stars because of conservative rage material.
