the https got you.
update dead link says the working one has already been submitted so I couldn't resubmit, but this is what you need:
He goes to Cambridge. Every guy there is Indian and/or creepy, so TFL Logic doesn't apply.
Also I thought the whole point of being a PUA was learning the cheat codes that let play get-you-bone-on in god mode and get the HB-10s even though you're a regular looking dork.
The problem with googling "HB5" is you get a lot of spark plugs and light bulb results.
I'm assuming "HB" means "hot babe" and the numbers 5-10 are the hotness rating of the rape target in question? I didn't see anything for HB4 or below, so I'm assuming this is like when the smallest drink you can order somewhere is a medium?
If I recall correctly, a few years ago the same rational made them change it to "hot babe" from "hot bitch."
Maybe some day the most misogynistic PUAs will have all migrated to MRA and TFL and it will actually turn into the "overly mechanistic dating tips for overly mechanistic people" thing that its less offensive defenders always try to paint it as. I'm not holding my breath on that one though.
The Great Schism.
Of course, without the misogny, they couldn't really call their community "PUA", since then it'd be nothing more than "Dating tips for socially clueless nerds". They need the sheen of sexually predatory alpha masculinity in order to keep their brand image intact.
When I first heard about this stuff I'm pretty sure the mainstream opinion was that anything below 7 didn't qualify as "HB" at all, and that prefix was only supposed to be used in the 7-10 range. Which in purely semantic terms is a valid point I suppose. Can't even keep their creepy objectification combat system internally consistent.
I'm trying to remember what one of the older, Mystery-period guys (might have been Mystery himself, I forget) was calling it a couple years ago around when I was submitting those PUA convention videos.
THE VENUSIAN ARTS!
He'd grown up enough that he was obviously starting to get a bit more perspective on the creepy aspects of what he was teaching people but it was his career so he couldn't actually renounce it. So he started calling it The Venusian Arts and rejected the term "seduction" because IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LOVE, MAN.
I'm pretty sure that was either Mystery or that student of his who ripped off his material after he had one of his big breakdowns and couldn't keep his business running.
PoE has fucking ruined me.
