Perfectly categorised and tagged.

Presumably this person plans to see JonBenet when they die?

The Mothership - 2013-06-19

I thought about a case video, or a sad one but I couldn't do it. I heard this song and was like "Eh this reminds me of JonBenet". Besides, she should be remembered for her happy life.

Until about 1/3 through I thought this was a montage of dead little blonde girls and the first one was named 'Caitlin.'

Also I didn't know what an 'angelversary' was but I had a pretty good idea. I checked the YouTube page. Yep. "Happy murderversay!"

Pope Caius - 2013-06-19

My story: It was some odd years ago that I discovered the YouTube subculture of making video tributes to murdered, kidnapped, or otherwise victimized little girls. JonBenet Ramsey was the most popular subject, followed by Madeleine McCann. I watched with some curiosity, even feeling the inspiration to attempt writing a screenplay about someone who becomes so obsessed with the unsolved case of the murder of a child actress that he starts kidnapping and murdering children for the sake of testing his theories. However, I am no writer. Back to the subject, this particular user was probably the most prolific/most popular of the group, and is still making video tributes to this day. Others came and went. Some used Evanescence songs, others preferred country songs. And of course there was In the Arms of an Angel. I also remember one who liked Children of Bodom.

There was also a Sims 2 tribute, requested by someone who claimed to be JonBenet's best friend growing up despite a notable difference in age.

I really really really want to see the Children of Bodom one now.

And am inspired to start doing my own, set to the music of GWAR. Should I start with Babyraper, or PreSchool Prostitute?

Pope Caius - 2013-06-19

The Children of Bodom one is gone. Their whole account's been deleted, which is a real tragedy.

EvilHomer - 2013-06-19

Do you remember which song it was?

Pope Caius - 2013-06-19

Lil Bloodred Ridin' Hood.

Yeah.

EvilHomer - 2013-06-19

Perfect!

Quad9Damage - 2013-06-19

Yeah, there's something not quite right about this.

Paracelsus - 2013-06-19

Fascinating, terrible.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-06-19

:'(

I'm not watching this, just take my stars. It's bad enough I have to remember enduring pictures of little JonBenet on the covers of countless tabloids years after the fact when I'm just trying to shop at the grocery store. The way the photo-shoppers would make her eyes the most terrifyingly swimming-pool blue, and she was never smiling, just looking at you with the most emotionless face, would just creep me the fuck out.

Michael B. Farbish, POE Red superstar and probably the gold standard for internet crazy, would have loved this.
