Mr. Purple Cat Esq. I got into dmcad a little bit and downloaded a few wads (though back in my day a wad was simply a level and couldnt hold extra sprites or scripts and whatnot)
Anyway I remember one level I downloaded was really bad except it had the words "sepultura" on the floor of one of the rooms rendered in great detail quite nicely.
Thats all I know about sepultura.
Old_Zircon I made one multilevel WAF when I was 17 or 18 and it's not that great, but I'll be damned if a decade later some guy didn't track me down and ask my permission to update it.
Turns out all his "updates" were fixing missing textures that were done on purpose, because back in the day that's how you made special effects like deep water and one of my own invention that made an illusion of video feedback appear in a monitor screen on a wall texture (only thing in the wad I take any pride in, it was a good idea) and I've lost the original.
Old_Zircon If I could find the proper version I'd send it to this guy.
Redford I actually liked this a lot. It's a fun combination between how the host knows what he's talking about mechanically, and the constant spelling mistakes and strange statements within the subtitles.
Also, regardless of context, bad doom wads are interesting to observe.
yogarfield "this wad can go fuck a cacodemon's ass!"
yogarfield oh and very related, the toothbrush with a secret:
