The Poochie tag

Also, Crazy Crab rules.

And Oh, he mentions Poochie by name.

My ex and I would always joke about getting a Poochie tattoo because one of our friends had two Milhouses across the globe touching fingers across his back saying "fair enough." One day, she came home and had just spent 200 dollars on a Poochie tattoo. That's grounds for divorce right there.

Prickly Pete
Or marriage.

So you had to send her back to her home planet?

Looks like Izzy from the 96 Olympics has been dethroned.

God damn is Olbermann tiresome. He's an east-coast thing, right?
Grandmaster Funk
Olbermann is good when he's doing serious topics, but comedy? Jesus Christ, that frantic, breathless delivery can't be doing that lame material any favors.

EvilHomer
Yeah, Olbermann's not very good at comedy, and he's being kind of a dick here. "Sick kids like him" is a *bad* thing? What?

I don't watch baseball and I have no idea who the Chicago Cubs even are, but it sounds like they're trying to do a John Cena thing here, and the baseball smarks are reacting just like their wrestling counterparts. If that's the case, screw it, I'm marking for Cubby; I don't see Oldboreman trying to help sick kids.

EvilHomer
So what I'm wondering is, this sudden burst of Cubby-hate and the media's reaction to it, is this a genuinely spontaneous social phenomenon? Or is it a carefully orchestrated marketing strategy?

That is to say, was Cubby-hate a grassroots movement that went viral and got picked up by news media outlets, because news media outlets are inherently lazy and love to let social media write soft news features for them? Or is Cubby-hate a step in the plan, a calculated backlash that's being ruthlessly exploited by the Chicago Cubs' shadowy corporate overlords, in much the same way as Bieber hate and Miley-outrage? Is this all just part of the hype, part of the campaign for brand recognition?
EvilHomer
I do like how some trolls tricked Comcast into airing a picture of Clark the Cub with his penis hanging out, however.
