I adore the entire KPM series.

Old_Zircon - 2014-10-01 The electronic titles are really cheap on Discogs right now, I picked up a few of the 80s Mansfield titles for under each on vinyl and a bunch of business-themed, 90s Richard Myhill on CD for - over the last two weeks.

Old_Zircon - 2014-10-01 I highly recommend "Business Direct" by Myhill.

Old_Zircon - 2014-10-02 Library records are almost always good. Check out 70s Bruton Music albums, too. Especially "Frontiers of Science" if you like this, it's how I imagine the soundtrack of a planetarium ca. 1977.

Old_Zircon - 2014-10-02 One of my favorite Bruton tracks (from the "High Adventure" album) is in this commercial:

Good 70s library records are usually out of my budget though.

Old_Zircon - 2014-10-02 If you want to really plunge into the uncanny valley Muzak creepiness of some newer stuff, I just recently stumbled on the early 200's "Mystical Moods" series on the Disc Marketing Inc. label. I found the fruit themed CD "Nature's Bounty" at a thrift shop last week and it's disgusting, it sounds like a folk guitarist having sex with a Korg Wavestation in a candle shop in Vermont.
